Capacitive sensors for high-temperature use

EGE flow rate sensors for the flow rate detection of 10...100 l/min feature one-piece measuring tubes with an inner diameter of 20 mm from highly resistant stainless steel V4A (1.4571). For particularly aggressive media EGE offers special materials, such as bronze, Hastelloy, titanium or even PTFE. The devices can either be set up intuitively using a potentiometer and LED indications or easily programmed using buttons and a multi-segment display. EGE flow rate sensors can be installed in circuits with corresponding pipe diameters using threaded fittings or compression fittings. The provide excellent measuring results wherever the safe, robust and low-maintenance monitoring of low flows is required.

EGE flow sensors for gaseous media in explosive areas permit the space-saving flow measurement on site and the comfortable setting of the limit value using separate amplifier. The measurement takes place without mechanically moving parts using a thermal measuring element. The current flow state is displayed at the amplifier using LEDs. The devices are used wherever a safe, robust and low-maintenance monitoring of flow values is required. The measuring sensors of the product series ST 400 Ex; STS; STEX have ATEX approval and may, dependent on their design, be used in Gas-Ex areas requiring equipment for EPL Ga or EPL Ga/Gb. In the Dust-Ex area their use is permitted up to EPLDa.

EGE capacitive level sensors for adhesive media offer the reliable monitoring of the filling level of granulate, powders, solids, such as feathers, fluids and aggressive as well as adhesive media. The medium to be detected functions as dielectric. The medium in touch with the sensor generates a capacity change. This is converted into a switching signal or an analogue 4...20 mA output signal. Level sensors of series KGFR are ideal for media with low DK value. The PTFE sleeve makes the sensor resistant to aggressive media and together with the round design ensures the fast slippage of the medium.

EGE compact devices for the flow monitoring of gaseous media contain measuring and amplifier in a single housing. They are used where a visualisation of the flow rate on site is required. EGE flow sensors for gaseous media feature two pins which contain the thermal measuring elements. The sensors are set up directly at the device. EGE sensors for gaseous media are characterised by a rapid response capability and reliable operation. Based on the principle, there are no moving parts in the air flow monitors and they can, therefore, also be used in aggressive environments. Devices for air conditioning technology have smooth measuring surfaces and need not protrude far into the flow duct.
