Description
Axon' design and manufacture all components ( cables, couplers, connectors, acce) used in data transmission systems in compliance with the MIL-STD-1553 standard. This is the protocol of dialogue for strategic on-board systems for aeronautics, space and military applications. The range of products is called axobus®. Mil-std-1553 cables offered by Axon' are made with 22,24 and 26 AWG screened twisted-pair cables. The company also manufacture in-line couplers designed for weight and space saving. The company can also offer lightweight and removable couplers (ACC), size 8 triaxial contacts and various accesories including connector backshell, D-Sub or Micro-D halorings. Axon' Cable has a long-term flight heritage.

Axon' has developed a range of aluminium wires, axalu®, which can replace traditional copper allowing substantial weight savings. Axon' ESA wires are approved to ESCC3901 and ESCC3902 standards.

Axon’ offers extruded flat cables with round conductors for any application requiring space reduction and temperature resistance. The round conductors are insulated with FEP or ETFE. These ribbon cables are characterized with their temperature resistance : -90°C to + 155°C for ETFE, -90°C to +155°C for ETFE insulated flat cables. They are highly resistant to abrasion and traction and have an excellent flexlife.They are available in 1.27 mm and 2.54 mm pitches.
