Its chemical strength is moderate, and it is resistant to some acids and bases. The polyamide 6 has the ability to collect water on its own. These features have pros and cons. Pros is that it increases the strength of the part against vibration and sudden impacts. This allzws the dynamic stresses that would otherwise occur during part use to be removed within itself. Cons is that it is difficult to achieve measurement stability in the material. In other words, the material is affected even by the moisture in the air and gets changes in the measurement. The tolerances must be observed before finishing the final processes of the part.
