GLASGOW RECYCLING

Glasgow Recycling is a family run organisation specialising in the re-use and recycling of textiles. We collect second hand T-shirts, used shirts, used trousers, used Jeans, used Jumpers; second hand Jackets, used Skirts, used blouses, shoes.Our Company graders used and unwanted clothing. Since our inception we have grown to become one of the main textile reclaimers in Scotland. We have a modern fleet of vehicles, a transport yard with modern warehouse facilities and knowledgeable, helpful, multi-lingual staff. Glasgow Recycling works closely with community groups, schools, local councils and industry, recycling 50 to 70 tonnes of clothing and textile per week. Beyond our core function, Glasgow Recycling is committed to: Raising awaireness about recycling among local communities, increasing recycling rates, helping the environment, supporting local authorities in meeting recycling objectives. These garments and textiles that can be worn and re-used by people in poorer countries.
