Micro-Epsilon offers a wide range of thickness measuring systems for different requirements and fields of application in coating lines. The thicknessCONTROL C-frames are designed for very harsh environments such as in dry coating. Their robust frame and the integrated temperature compensation feature ensure high measurement accuracy even in high ambient temperatures. In addition, the systems are available in different application-specific designs for various film widths with up to 8 measurement tracks.

Due to its high resolution also when measuring long distances, linear displacement measurements up to 900 mm can be carried out. Conversions between rotatory and translation movements through ball screws, wire or cord connections and so on are not necessary for direct displacement measurement. Application fields include: —Electromagnets —Deformations - bending —Pneumatic cylinders —Length tolerances —Press-insertions (longitudinal press-fits) —Feed strokes —Machine hubs —Punch, knee lever or extruder distances —Hydraulic cylinders Due to the technology employed in potentiometric displacement sensors, they always operate with a sliding contact system. Special processes are applied to give the resistance tracks low friction, low tendency to stick/slip, resistance to abrasion and long-term stability. The rod is guided in a low-play floating frontal bearing. This absorbs small angular and parallel displacements.

The preeflow flowplus16 is a material-resistant, dead space-free miniature pressure sensor in the smallest design - for moving fluids. The "Luer-Lock" (male/female) on both sides makes it suitable for all common dosing systems that work with this type of thread. The sensor generates a standardized, compatible, linearized and temperature-compensated output signal. Existing dosing systems can be easily extended and protected with the pressure sensor. The flowscreen is a robust evaluation device for applications in various fields of application. In combination with the pressure sensor flowplus16, a complete system for fluid process monitoring is created. Thanks to standardized signals and standardized connections, the components can also be integrated as individual components. The DCX-38 data loggers are designed for water level measurements with a high resolution in the mbar range. They can detect water levels with a total error band of just 1 mm (measuring range 0,5 m water column, compensated temperature range -10...40 °C). Thanks to their long-life battery, they can keep measuring the water level, water pressure and temperature for years (up to 10 years at a rate of one measurement per hour). The logger can be configured using the supplied software (measurement interval, incident management, delayed measurement start etc.) and data that has been read can be displayed in a graph or chart, converted into fill levels or other units, and exported.
