Idlers For Curves

PVC-Steel idlers with jacket consisting of PVC tube and bearing mounting head rigidly coupled by pressure.They are mounted on angular ball bearings at full complement with or without spacer cage, pre-lubricated and protected with anti-dust labyrinth seals.The finishes of the rollers, the executions of the bearings and the operating temperatures are showed from pages 12 to 15. The axle fixing shapes are shown on page 27.They are used in the production of gravity, push and motor-driven conveyors.The diagrams and tables on page 26 show the dimensional characteristics. Normal operating temperature, TN:_5 ÷ +50 [°C].

Steel clamped and monobloc idlers with double cylindrical tube or conical tube.They are used in the production of gravity or push curves. Curves with rollers are used to deflect the straight running direction of the package in a circular direction.Their opening angle α° is normally 45°, 90° or 180°.Depending on the flow of material running clockwise or anticlockwise, they are named right or left.In the production of curves with idlers, the following types of rollers can be used:_ individual cylindrical rollers mounted in radially staggered fashion (base-idlers)

With PVC pipe and head, with steel tube and PVC head. They are mounted vertically with sliding guide functions; horizontally for special applications such as the mounting for tangential belts in motor-driven conveyors through driven base rollers or rollers with pulley for flat belt. With plastic wheels on steel axles, assembled in sequence, they are used as an alternative to tapered rollers in gravity curves for the handling of packages with a flat supporting surface and light loads. The wheels can be individually assembled, fixed on flatbeds by means of suitable brackets, in correspondence with exchanges between curves and tracks with idlers, in conjunction between tracks with ortogonal motor-driven rollers or with the function of guide-abutment of packages.

PVC-STEEL cylindrical and tapered rollers with one or two grooves rolled on the steel tube, driven by round belt links in series or individually connected to a transmission bar activated by the motor unit. PVC and PVC-STEEL rollers with flat or toothed polyamide resin PA or steel ACC pulley driven by tangential belt or belt links in series. The diagrams and tables on page 86 show the dimensional characteristics and minimum and maximum lengths of manufacture. The rollers for flat or toothed belts are produced in the following versions: with pinion integral to the jacket for continuous transport; with friction pulley for stockpiling transport and in the connection of machines operating at different speeds.
