Impression Die Forging High Quality

Forging Parts

Description

Impression die forging is a metal deformation technique in which a billet is compressed between two sets of die to form a complex part. Impression Die Forging is also called closed die forging. The metal is placed in a mold and attached to an anvil. The hammer falls on the metal, allowing it to flow and fill the cavity. The hammer is timed to make rapid and continuous contact with the metal in milliseconds. Excess metal is pushed out of the mold cavity, causing overflow. The flash cools faster than other materials, making it stronger than the metal in the mold. Remove flash after forging.
