Description

Iniper 64 (Azobisisobutyronitrile) is an white solid which has C8H12N4 as chemical formula. Iniper 64 is used as initiator predominantly for bulk, solution, suspension and emulsion polymerisation of a wide variety of monomers. Polymers produced in this way are used for different applications such as fibres, sheets, coating resins flocculants etc. The polymerisation of the monomers used is initiated by the free cyanoisopopyl radicals which are formed upon thermal decomposition of Iniper 64. It does not form oxygenated residues as it is the case with peroxides and does not cause oxidative degradation of pigmented or dyed polymer compositions such as paints, coatings, fibres and sheets. Availability Europe Iniper 64 (AIBN) is on stock in our local warehouses. Our lead time is about one week if delivered in 20 KG fiber drums. Canada, South America, South Africa and other markets can also be served, please contact our sales department for more details.
