The MCP1702T-3302E/CB is a low quiescent current low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator in 3 pin SOT-23A package. This regulator is an ideal choice for two to six primary cell battery powered applications, 9V alkaline and one or two cell Li-Ion powered applications. Output voltage tolerance of MCP1702 is typically ±0.4% at +25°C and ±3% maximum over operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Line regulation is ±0.1% typical at 25°C. When only 1F of output capacitance is used, the LDO output is steady. Electrolytic capacitors made of ceramic, tantalum, or aluminum can be utilized for input and output. The mounting flange and measurement tube are constructed from die cast aluminium. This construction permits the insertion of tank sensors up to 1200 mm in length, without additional support on the tank floor.
