This course is aimed at members of the WSG who have a responsibility for managing projects / refurbishment from the concept & design stage through to completion - be it a new build through to a refurbishment & alterations to existing water systems. This course would benefit those external organisations who are involved with the design & delivery of developments for their clients (i.e construction and architects). The course is accredited with CPD & recognised by ILM, part of the City & Guilds Group. Topics covered on the course will include: - Background to Legionella / Pseudomonas aeruginosa / Scalding; - Favorable conditions; - Susceptible individuals; - Control strategies for managing water safety risk; - Understanding law, regulations and guidance - Water Safety Groups; - Role & Responsibilities of the AP - Design; - Water Safety Plans - the design control element of a WSP; - Lessons learnt;
