Technical plastic : Polyethylene (Short : PE) Product name Polyethylene (PE or sub groups like PE-HD, PE-LD, PE-HMW, PE-UHMW, PE 300, PE 500, PE 1000 or RCH 1000 and many more) Delivery form Sheets, cuts, milled products, base profiles Specification Polyethylene - technical plastic Polyethylene ( Short: PE ) is a technical plastic that can be processed easil. It has a density of about 0,95g/cm³ and with that it's the second least weighing plastic of all technical plastics and just because of that it offers a very interesting price. The moisture absorbtion of PE is about 0,0 %. The material is really good against lyes and acids , has a self-lubricating effect and is easy to mill ( cut, milling, lathe, water jet cutting and welding ). Furthermore it is a great material for abrasive fraught parts in e.g. machine engineering ( PE UHMW ), as inlay for bulk containers or as a cutting boards in the food industry or households. We would like to advise you which kind of PE RG ist the...

We supply you with the material cellular polyethylene as blocks, sheets or rolls, further processed into strips, punched parts, molded parts or milled parts, with or without self-adhesive coating. Cellular polyethylene is one of the most versatile and modern cellular materials when it comes to application and processing quantity. That's why we produce and sell an enormous range of cross-linked PE foams in variable densities, many colors and compression hardnesses. In addition, KOPP offers you electrically conductive, static-dissipative and flame-retardant PE qualities. This program is rounded off by high-quality EVA and a unique EPDM-PE blend. The material cellular polyethylene All of our cellular polyethylene qualities combine the positive properties of a plastic: high aging resistance, high chemical resistance, low emission values, exceptionally uniform density, they are odor-free and can be thermoformed.

Polyethylene LDPE has a high degree of short and long chain branching. It is one of the most simplest and common polymer. It has, therefore, less trong intermolecular forces as the instantaneous-dipole inducted-dipole attraction is less. This results in a lower tensile strength and increased ductility. LDPE is created by free radical polymerization. The high degree of branching with long chains gives molten LDPE unique and desirable flow properties. LDPE is used for both rigid containers and plastic film applications such as plastic bags and film wrap. LDPE Polyethylene are the most commonly industrially produced plastics. The various types of polyethylene are labelled according to their density. Low-density polyethylene, i.e. polyethylene with a density of between 0.91 to 0.94 g/cm³, usually referred to as LDPE. LDPE is mainly used for packaging products.
