Murumuru Butter

It is a product obtained by hot extraction of roasted and chopped seeds (nibs) of Theobroma cacao. It is pale yellow in color. For food and cosmetic applications Food: Cacao butter is used to make chocolate. Cosmetics: Rich in essential fatty acids, it helps fight the action of the sun by absorbing UV radiation. Thanks to its high levels of lanolin, it acts as a moisturizer for the skin, moisturizing it and reducing water loss, thus delaying the appearance of wrinkles.

The butter is extracted from the pure seeds of the fruit to obtain raw, filtered and unrefined butter. Also available as deodorized butter: Obtained from Copoazú fruit seeds, it is a Natural emollient and superior moisturizing ingredient in skincare and haircare formulation. Very soft as compared with other vegetable butters. Very pleasant to touch, and it does not make the skin shiny. Great skin moisturizer capable to help in the emulsion stability and water retention. Our butter has fantastic properties for cosmetic uses as it contains generous amounts of essential fatty acids: Oleic acid (w9) 43-45% Stearic acid (30-32%), phytochemicals phytosterols.

Copaiba oil is extracted from the perforation of the Copaifera species tree. It is used in the Amazon as a folk medicine due to its anti-inflammatory and detoxifying healing properties. It is an exepcionalnatural antifungal, so its application is ideal for problems of psoriasis, herpes, dermatitis and fungi. It helps to heal the wounds and contributes to activate the blood circulation, being very effective in cases of varicose veins.

The oil is extracted from the dried pulp and shell. A raw (unrefined) and filtered oil is obtained. Natural sun protector and a powerful antioxidant. Buriti oil has a high concentration in carotenoids (1700 ppm), oleic acid (70-75%), tocopherols (800 ppm), polyphenols, and phytosterols. Carotenoids are the potent natural antioxidants and give the oils an orange–red color that is very pronounced in crude oil. Carotenoids responsible for many functional properties as antioxidant activity, prevention of cardiovascular disease, cancer, macular degeneration and in some cases provitamin A.
