Integration - Typical camera installation A typical Lasersec Systems camera installation consists of three main components. A Radar for the detection of incoming threats, a camera which is directed by the radar, and the SeaLase Nonlethal laser system. The radar and camera can be existing equipment or provided with the laser system. In addition to shipboard applications this configuration is suitable for perimeter security on land. Maritime security - Anti-piracy The SeaLase Nonlethal laser is used to warn, deter and prevent pirate attacks on ships. The laser is effective over a distance of up to 4 km. It prevents hostile weapons. The temporarly flashblinded targets are substantially deranged to manouvre or aiming weapons. vessels from approaching and keeps them out of the range of conventional fire.
