With its extensive investments, for example in additive production processes or the patented Double-LaserHybrid-Process (DLHP®) which was developed in-house, Stahlkontor has opened up new perspectives in economical precision production of parts made of high-alloy steel. The core competences of Stahlkontor are spread across the three service areas of cutting, joining and cold forming. Laser-beam cutting, water-jet cutting and HSC contour milling are used for cutting according to the type and thickness of the raw material. A choice of laser-beam, laser-hybrid and inert-gas welding are available as joining technologies. For cold forming, Stahlkontor offers bending, compression molding and edging as available in-house processes. With range of mechanical processing, welding processes and surface treatment available at Stahlkontor, it is possible to manufacture components and assemblies ready for installation and further processing.

Throughout its development, shifts have been seen from a simple geometry of castings made of unalloyed steels into more demanding and complex product constructions using low & high-alloyed cast steel. Croning livarna d.o.o. has 40-years long tradition in production of carbon and alloyed cast steel, wear-resistant cast steel on the basis of Cr and Mn, stainless and corrosion-resistant cast steel, heat-proof steel castings, duplex and superduplex steel castings and special nickel alloys. With two different methods, foundry is able to produce castings with 0, 1-60 kg according to Croning method, and castings with weight 10-1300 kg according to the Veloset method (self-hardening sand moulds). Capacity of foundry is 120 t monthly.
