As a standard, silicone hoses are made with polyester fabric. Reinforced fabrics such as aramid (NOMEX), Kevlar or fiberglass are also available as options. There are special Viton inserts for petrol and oil. All hoses are available by the meter, elbows and reducers. Custommade molded hoses can also be produced according to customer requirements.

Goodridge braided fire sleeve is engineered for exposure to varying degrees of heat. The thick layer of self-extinguishing silicone polymer shields direct flame exposure, shedding molten metal and glass, whereas the texturized braided fibreglass insulating inner core maintains and stabilises internal temperature whilst minimising surface temperature. Resistant to lubricating oils, fuels, hydraulic fluid, acids, bases and solvents.

SIC also provides you with a unique range of custom silicone radiator hoses with full resistance against any kinds of acid based coolants. We use uniquely designed raw materials to reach highest resistance possible against anti-freeze coolants – mainly used in automotive industry. With SIC’s powerful and extra-long-living silicone radiator hoses you can avoid expensive failures that would occur in case of using average blue coolant hoses.

SIC Hungary offers an extensive range of silicone coolant hoses in different sizes, shapes and colors. In addition to our custom coolant hoses with unique shapes and coloring we also produce standard blue Silicone/Polyester hoses that perfectly meet the criteria of SAE J20 R1 Class A. Depending on the specific pressure requirements of industrial environments our hoses’ thickness can be increased or decreased by changing the number of Polyester fabric layers in the hose. Our hoses have been intensively tested for 6 years by Erik Hugyecz professional motocross racer both in European and Hungarian Championships. He won the Hungarian championship two times. SIC chose motocross industry for testing because it has the highest RPM ranges, high engine heat and very intense movement of parts. This was an important part of our research and development cycle.

Our ‘Organic-Acid-Technology’ hoses are designed to resist extended life anti-freeze coolants containing sebacate or 2-ethylhexanoic acid. In this case, standard blue coolants hoses will fail to provide the necessary protection. Our OAT hoses are available in 3 different models: Silicone Bolt, EPDM+ and Silicone Bolt+. We recommend the 4-ply reinforced Silicone Bolt with a temperature range of -50°C to +215°C for gases that permeate the silicone liner and damage polyester fabrics. In case of potassium/sodium 2-ethylhexanoic acid presence in the coolant, our EPDM+ hose with a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C is an ideal choice with a special grade of EPDM reinforced with 1-ply Aramid. Silicone Bolt+ hoses are manufactured with an impermeable inner liner that withstand the harshest gases and chemicals that could otherwise permeate a silicone liner. This hose has a temperature range of -25°C to 225°C.

Several industries require flexible yet strong spiral silicone hoses. Bending radius increases exceedingly when our high-quality spiral hoses are reinforced with a 1,2 mm thick metal fiber, making hoses flexible – even up to 160 degrees – and super-strong at the same time.

Our high-end turbo hoses are made of FKM fluorocarbon or FVMQ fluoro-silicone transferring high-pressure air. We have various automotive companies among our clientele using SIC’s strong and pressure-resistant silicone turbo hoses for decades.

At SIC’s rubber factory, a wide range of quality marine hoses are manufactured for marine applications as well. We always make sure, each of our straight, elbow and bellow hoses meet SAE J2006 R3 requirements. To make our hoses perfectly resistant against extreme heat up to 260 degrees we reinforce silicon hoses with 4-6 plies of Meta-aramid. We produce hoses for marine applications with high attention on mechanical effect on rubber equipment caused by the movements of ships.

EPDM hoses are designed for low-temperature industrial applications. One of the main advantages of using EPDM hoses is its price-competitiveness. EPDM hoses are much cheaper than silicone products while bringing the same mechanical resistance characteristics. What differs it from silicone hoses is its lower resistance against heat. SIC produces both reinforced and non-reinforced EPDM hoses. Reinforced version Reinforced hoses are commonly used in industrial processes operating with extremely high pressure or vacuum.

We have developed our silicone turbo charger / CAC hoses to always fit the requirements defined by SAE J20 Class A. Our silicon hoses can be ordered in different sizes and shapes so they are able to connect different kinds of engine mounted charge air cooler system parts. We produce charge air hose with convoluted shape that perfectly endure vibrations and works well even in case of mis-alignments. There are tow ways of manufacturing charge air hoses. Meta-aramid reinforced silicone hoses withstand a temperature range of -56 to +250 degrees Celsius while Polyester reinforced hoses withstand a range between -56 and 180 degrees Celsius. Materials Available with the option of fluoro-silicone or FKM inner linings for added resistance against oil and acid fuel. Hoses with metal fittings and crimped ends also can be developed on demand.

At SIC, food transmission hoses are produced from silicon cured with platinum catalyzer. It results a unique compound with no chemical interaction with food components, which is outstandingly valuable for food industries. Our food grade silicones’ quality is proven by FDA certificate. Our food grade silicone hoses have good resistance against weather, extreme heat, ozone and UV lays in addition to properties like flexibility and more. Both the structure and the compound of our food grade hoses are made specifically for use with foods. To make it withstand different pressure levels and a temperature range between -50 °C and 180 °C we use polyester reinforcements. Material We use highest quality compound available to create hoses meeting the requirements of the food industry. To avoid any kinds of chemical interactions between food and hoses we use silicon cured with platinum catalyzer.

Shore Auto offers silicone coolant hoses in a range of shapes, colours and sizes. Unless otherwise specified, our standard blue Silicone/Polyester hoses meet the requirements of SAE J20 R1 Class A. The hoses generally have 3-4 plies of Polyester fabric, but the # of layers can be increased/decreased depending on the working pressure requirements Temperature range: -56 to + 180 degrees Celsius (-70 to + 350 Fahrenheit). Good resistance to weather and ozone, and resists corrosion from coolant and heat transfer HOSES FOR ORGANIC-ACID BASED COOLANTS We offer a special range of hoses, for resistance to organic acid based coolants, which contain sebacate or 2-ethylhexanoic acid. These extended life anti-freeze coolants which are extremely corrosive in nature, require hoses of specially designed materials. Using normal blue coolant hoses of the standard material for these coolants, will result in pre-mature failures.

Platinum cured Silicone Hoses have a very low glass transition temperatures. They are transparent, and hence one can see through the fabric reinforcement. Food grade silicones show excellent heat resistance, cold flexibility, dielectric properties and especially good resistance to weather, ozone and UV rays. Platinum-grade silicone formulations are designed specifically for use with food products. FDA approved silicone has reduced food taint and very low bacteria build up resulting in ultimately lower maintenance costs. The platinum-cured Silicone Hoses are reinforced with multiple plies of knit polyester; and wire too if needed, to withstand different pressure levels.The temperature range is between -50 °C +180 °C (upto 250 °C peak working temperatures if reinforced with meta-aramid)

The convoluted shapes are required when there are slight mis-alignments during fitment or functioning. Application: San-sil is a premium grade platinum cured, odourless, tasteless and completely non-toxic silicone suction and delivery hose with a smooth liner and cover. It is an ideal hose for all types of applications transferring liquid or semi-liquid chemical, food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical product. It is not suitable for handling abrasive particles. Meets or exceeds European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9, FDA CFR 177.2600, BgVV & L11A and USP XXV1 Class V1. Working pressure: 10 bar (145psi) to 3 bar (46psi) depending on bore size, safety factor 4:1. Full vacuum up to and including 51mm bore. Lining: FDA compliant transparent seamless extruded* smooth silicone. Reinforcement: Polyester fabrics, 316L stainless steel wire helix.
