Green cardamom is a aromatic spice with a very wide range of uses. The plant has underground stems with leafy roots, large white or pale green leaves, pale green fruits and black seeds. The spice has a very warm aroma and pungent taste which it can retain for a very long time.

Green Split Peas have a mild flavor and soft texture. This split pea has more of an earthy flavor than a whole dried pea and is similar to the lentil in its uses and nutrients. Green split peas are perfect for use in thick and hearty soups and can also be used in dips, spreads, stuffing and casseroles.

White beans are one of the many varieties of common beans domesticated in North and South America. Several types exist, though the most common are cannellini beans, which are also called white kidney beans. Tender, with an earthy, nutty flavor, they make a great addition to soups, stews, chilis, and other dishes.

The soybean is an erect branching plant and can reach more than 2 metres (6.5 feet) in height. The self-fertilizing flowers are white or a shade of purple. Seeds can be yellow, green, brown, black, or bicoloured, though most commercial varieties have brown or tan seeds, with one to four seeds per pod.
