Description

With the CA contactor series Schaltbau is introducing an innovative contactor concept to the market. It ensures the reliable disconnection of all kinds of converters. No matter if it is the inverter for the traction motors of an EMU or the central inverter of a photovoltaic installation, due to its high short-circuit breaking capacity a CA Series contactor is always a reliable cut out switch. In the case of permanent magnet traction motors it thus prevents the drive from being blocked in the event of a short-circuit in the output circuit of the inverter, and with PV inverter systems it switches them off and on the electrical grid.
