Testing is a vital aspect in making sure your fire alarm system is efficient enough. Service/Maintenance tests should consist of 2-4 visits a year depending on the size of the building. Each device will be tested once though out the year. The panels must be tested at least twice a year.Also a sounder test should be done once a year. It is essential that an evacuation drill takes place once a year to ensure in the case of a real fire the evacuation plan can be followed as well as the system operates correctly. It is also the clients responsibility to test your own system weekly and monthly.

Our Engineers are working on a large residential property in Leeds. We are replacing the existing system and adding extra detection within the flats to allow this building to meet the current standards.
