Iran with more than 3000 kilometers coastline, has the capacity for a production of one million tons of different kinds of aquatic species every year. During the year 2014, based on a contract signed between the Institute of Jahad Nasr and Iranian Fishery Organization (Shilat), Jahad Nasr Institute has been entrusted for : Aquaculture project for fish cages culture in the Caspian Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Oman Sea, and in the lakes behind internal dams for a capacity of 60000 tons. Culture production of 10000 tons of sturgeon and Produce 100 tons of caviar Culture production of 10000 tons 10000 tons in the Persian Gulf and Oman sea. To achieve the marine fish, shrimp and sturgeon fish production of 80000 tons per year, the Institute of Jahad Nasr has programmed a 10-year plan within which, besides the production plan, all essential chains have been provided and programmed.
