ASTRO Motorengesellschaft was founded in 1983. The company has been continually expanding and is now the premium manufacturer of electric motors in a power output range of up to 200 watts. The electrical engineer Walter Hopp developed a new type of synchronous motor in three power output levels. This formed the foundations of our current product range.
