San Mauro del Cilento is the town of oil. Just a few kilometres from the famous tourist resort of Acciaroli, the town is in the National Park of Cilento and Vallo Diano. The area is dotted with old watermills, footpaths through the Mediterranean scrub, and olive groves. Azienda Agricola Botti has a sense of belonging and love for this area, and still makes its extra virgin olive oil in the traditional way with its own olives.
