Air treatment
Description
The air handling unit (AHU) is a small piece of equipment for the simple treatment of air in small environments. It is usually composed of a single chilled water and hot water heat exchange coil, both for cooling and heating, or of a direct expansion coil in which the refrigerant gas circulates. Evaporation takes place in the coil itself within the rooms of use by an air filter and a low head suction/delivery fan.
