The current standard provides for an impedance of 75 ohms for all components of video surveillance systems; today unfortunately most of the connectors used (usually oriental imported and of low cost and quality) are designed for an impedance of 50 ohms (old standard of professional video systems). This difference creates a disturbance in the passage of the signal through the same connector, with a sure degradation of the signal itself.
