When using these hammerlocks in conjunction with Trawlex grade 100 chain we suggest to choose the next bigger size of "CO" connectors. You then are on the safe side as far as breaking load is concerned and still you have a considerable advantage of saving costs. For safety reasons and also to avoid damages or loss of fishing gear we advise to use new pins and bushings when re-assembling hammerlocks after a longer period of use.
