COMTEC MFG., INC. - from COMponent TEChnology - is a manufacturer of customer specific highly engineered production components of ferrous and nonferrous based materials utilizing the powder metallurgy or sintered metallurgy processes. We produce a wide range of complex shapes that are pressed metals into “net” configurations and sintered to achieve optimum powdered metal material physical properties. Our process offers “net shape” configurations with multi-level pressing capabilities resulting in components with two, three, four, five, and six levels throughout the molding direction with uniform density. This approach minimizes costly post manufacturing machining processes. We operate from 44, 100 square feet on 18 acres. We are strategically located in a region that offers a substantial industry base supporting the powdered metal part processing activities. Companies engaged in building molding, sintering, and finishing equipment, heat treat and temper, various plating finishes, post-production machining processes, tooling, gauge and fixture construction, raw material composition pre-mixing, and non-destructive testing are some of the region’s complimenting businesses to our industry.
