DEVELOPMENT AS A LIBERATION PROCESS The ultimate goal of all our work remains unchanged. Today, as thirty years ago, the challenge remains the "development of the whole man and of all men". Hunger, AIDS, the lack of primary goods - food, clean water, dignified housing, education - and other forms of injustice and marginalization, deprive men and women of the possibility of a normal life and their dignity of people. For CVM, development is first and foremost a process of liberation from the oppression of poverty. Unlocking the potential inherent in everyone is the recurring strategy in all activities and proposed by CVM.
