Description
CSN® Braking Resistors are used for controlled braking of every kind of electrical drives. Braking resistors convert the energy of drives into thermal energy which will be dissipated into the corresponding cooling medium. Design variations with natural or forced air cooling are available. CSN® Braking Resistors can be delivered with an indirect water cooling system using an airwater heat exchanger as well. The design of the CSN® Braking Resistors is particularly suitable for use in maritime applications.
