In addition, the concrete transportation system, which has many advantages over its counterparts, is a project that has won an award by attaining the final stage in the Technology awards organized by TÜSIAD. A rail line and a high-speed concrete transport hopper (Pi Fly) are used to deliver the concrete from the concrete plant to the molds. The concrete transported by the hopper is poured into molds with the casting unit (Pi Cast). Pi Fly Pi Makina Concrete Distribution System, unlike traditional methods, is designed to achieve top-level efficiency using minimal labor. Developed based on the inspiration of technology and innovation, this system allows for fast and easy operation thanks to pre-prepared commands and one-button controlled operations. We designed a solution for the complete lifting process of the precast concrete sections of a grandstand. From production to construction. The solution consists of two different vacuum lifters. One for the production area to demould, lift and turn. And another which is used at the stadium construction area. Why lifting by vacuum instead of hooks? By origin, all handling during both production and construction was done by hooks. The hooks were installed during production and removed after construction. By vacuum lifting no hooks are required, saving manpower, time, and investment. Moreover, no damage comes to the concrete element and stays smooth and untouched.

Durus S500 is proving increasingly popular with designers, contractors and project owners. This synthetic macro-fibre has shown to be a valid alternative to conventional steel fibre reinforcement. With no need to change existing designs, a concrete mix using steel fibres can be replaced by a mix containing Durus S500 macro fibres. The workability will remain unchanged and often even be improved. Typical applications include the production of concrete tunnel segments and other precast concrete elements. The use of Durus S500 instead of steel fibres eliminates any risk of injuries to manufacturing operatives during dosing, de-moulding and handling of precast elements. Compliance with health & safety requirements during the production process and on the construction site are thus greatly improved.
