Corn starch


Corn starch is a milky translucent paste with low viscosity so as corny taste and flavor. After drying it turns into white or yellowish free-flowing powder. Corn starch is grain starch with low ash and protein content. It is a universal (diverse) additive that satisfies the needs of several industries. Corn starch also contains 83.5% of carbon (calorisator). It also contains calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium and a low content of magnesium. Corn starch is a source of PP vitamin. It can replace other food and can be used as a natural thickening agent in cooking. It does not contain gluten so is often used for replacing flour in corresponding recipes.
