Counter Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System (C-UAV)

Icarus was designed and developed for current and emerging threats from Wi-Fi controlled drones (UAV) on both 2GHz and 5GHz unlicensed frequency bands. There are various current threats posed by drones, smuggling of contraband into prisons, near miss incidents at airports and illegal or unwanted aerial snooping on private land amongst many others. Icarus allows you to control drone activity whilst offering no threat to bona fide WIFI activity, through operation of a unique threat detection filter. Drones can be categorized as authorised, which means that none threatening drone activity can be allowed, whilst unauthorised activity will be disrupted. When an unauthorised drone flies within range of Icarus the pilot loses both control of the drone and the video signal. The drone enters its safe mode and will hover briefly before returning to its take off co-ordinates. Unlike other systems Icarus is not a frequency jammer.
