Technical information The Z+F EVOPRESS is an electrically driven crimping press for processing a wide variety of electrical connectors such as Z+F ferrules and Z+F terminals. Technical information The electropneumatic driven, easily adaptable crimpmodule is specifically designed for Z+F ferrules on reel, fully automatic production lines. Ferrules on reel in the range of 0.5 up to 2.5 mm2 (AWG 20 – 14) can be crimped. Five rolls of ferrules can be inserted in the machine at the same time and the crimping height automatically adapts itself.

Technical Information The pneumatic driven crimper is specifically desig­ned to crimp loose turned contacts. In the range of 0.08 up to 4 mm2 (AWG 28 – 12) wires and contacts can be crimped. A 4/8-indent crimp corresponding to SAE 22520 is standard. The crimping-depth can be adjusted manually in 10 µm steps. The machine is equipped with standard crimping tool kit, the crimper can be easily adapted to various contacts. Brackets for optimized infeed and centering of the wire are optionally available. In the range of 0.5 to 10 mm² (AWG 20 – 8) wires and ferrules can be crimped. Standard is the trapezoidal crimp corresponding to DIN 46228 part 4. The machine can optionally be adapted to other crimpforms. Adjustments, important data, functions and status will be programed and shown on the touch display. Universal use in the specified range without tool change. I/O interface enables easy integration and time-optimized function in fully automatic systems.
