As part of the strategic partnership, companies intend to develop hardware and software solutions for computer vision based on high-performance mobile platforms. The collaboration of DANNIE and Computer Vision Systems will enable the development of unique client solutions for automatic image analysis on the end device side (Edge ML) without the use of broadband communication channels or server capacities. According to the developers, such solutions may be of particular interest to customers of projects that require a combination of high performance and low SoC cost, compared to similar platforms for computer vision.
