The origin of Dibal, S.A. dates back to 1985, the year we began manufacturing commercial scales as an integral part of the Grupo Novatronic, which was recognized for its activities in the field of electronic engineering and communications. The combination of Novatronic's and Dibal's know-how allowed for the launch in 1986 of the electronic scale equipped with a pioneering computer communication system in Spain. Three years later, we developed the scale with two printers (for tickets and labels), a solution highly valued by our clients in the retail sector for the cost savings it provides. In order to respond to the continuous demands of our customers, we expanded our scope of action, also developing industrial weighing equipment and automatic weighing and labeling systems starting in 1992. In the following years, we continued to work to adjust our offerings to the new needs of the market: scales adapted to currency change (), PC scales, industrial equipment with dynamic weighing, etc. In 2013, we once again revolutionized the commercial scale market with the launch of the only electronic scale with a touchscreen worldwide (the D-900). In the industrial sector, recent developments have mainly focused on increasing the performance of the equipment and making them easier for operators to use by making them more intuitive.
