The SH line is equipped with a hand wheel and a scale ring with a 0.02 mm scale gradation. Sizes 075 up to 400 can, on option, also be furnished with a 0.01 mm scale gradation. Also on sale are one axe or multi-axe slide types that run on roller bearings. These are made of grey cast iron (GG 25) or of aluminium. Aluminium models are anodized black. Slides for higher loads can be delivered as reinforced execution.

Different installation options allow to read the display from different viewing directions. The housing consists of shockproof plastic. The digital display allows to make fast adjustments over the complete measuring path.
