EHRT's standard bending machine EB20 is distinguished by its extreme robustness and simple handling. This machine offer an outstanding bending accuracy of 0.2°. A special plug-in system makes tool changing very user-friendly on the machine. This guarantees very fast setup times and yet robust and precise bending tools. Beckhoff’s PLC machine control enables machine maintenance and software updates via remote access.

The new FlexPunch series features a very flexible and modular system. Each machine can be adapted to the customer’s individual requirements via individual components. The FlexPunch compact is the smaller version of the two and is particularly suited for production sites with limited space. The FlexPunch series is equipped with three CNC controlled axes, allowing for production parts to made with virtually perfect accuracy. No additional employees are needed to adjust the machine, which saves a significant amount of time. The operator is only responsible for starting the machine, feeding in the material and then removing the production parts. Feeding the material and removing the production parts can be further automated. This makes the punching machines extremely costeffective.

The “E” in the name stands for the electric drive of the machine, which enables energy savings of up to 70 %. Due to the absence of a hydraulic unit, which is no longer needed, the machine is significantly more quiet and requires little maintenance. The CNC-controlled side stop is equipped as standard. The machine’s larger tables allow the operator greater degrees of freedom in the bending process, especially with more complex workpieces.

Storing or relocating the bars is fully automated by the Gantry System. It offers the operator the option to simultaneously store multiple different materials. The punching machine is automatically loaded with the stored materials depending on the order. As with other EHRT software solutions, the stock quantities and status of the gantry can be checked both at the machine and remotely from an office. This leads to a significant reduction in manpower requirements at the machine. Like the stock status, current orders can be traced from the office as well as the machine. Orders to the gantry related to storing, relocating, or retrieving materials and loading for production jobs can be executed simultaneously. The gantry can replace an existing material storage facility.

AMZ stands for automated material loading. AMZ enables automated loading of metal bars into our punching machines. Different materials types (thickness/width) can be processed successively. This only requires a short manual intervention when changing the type of metal bars, which allows for an ideal preparation of the production process. As soon as the machine has been started, the operator no longer needs to deal with feeding in the material, and can sort and further process the production parts during this time. The AMZ can also be seen as a small intermediate storage facility.
