Electrostatic Innovations from Eltex have been creating safety in hazardous areas for over 60 years: Controlled electrostatic grounding protects production sites and employees when handling highly flammable and explosive substances. Terrabox TCB030 is designed for direct installation in explosion hazard areas (Zone 1 or 21)and for connecting a clamp. Two clamps are connected when used for BIG BAG grounding. The dual-color indicator lamp signals the correct grounding state. The integrated contacts allow an enable circuit to be implemented.

The new POWER CHARGER units cover various performance stages and charging applications. They can be operated either with a supply voltage of 24 V DC or a line voltage in the range of 85 V – 264 V AC. The output voltage is 75 or 150 watts. A membrane keyboard or an optionally available, integrated touch panel is used to control the generators. POWER CHARGER units can be operated using analog operation or via digital fieldbus interfaces. A control system that uses CANopen and ModbusTCP and other fieldbus standards are available.

The ES53 complies with the requirements of the EX approval BAS98ATEX2179X (discharging bar) and PTB00ATEX2071X (blower head). It is characterized by 5 plug-type high voltage outputs, stable 5 kV AC output voltage, small dimensions, easy installation, solid design in protection class IP 54, function and malfunction monitoring of the bars with floating signal contacts (optional).
