STRICTUS on own plantation in rural area in Brazil. Production of Bamboo charcoal is performed onsite by optimized process of "pyrolysis". Pressing of charcoal to build briquettes in various sizes and shapes. No artificial or chemical add-on is used, only 100% natural product to form the briquettes. Packaging in paper-boxes for 5, 10, 15 kg and other sizes. Design and printing of bags (boxes) defined by customer. Transport of bags (boxes) are preferably by ISO container to next container port. The briquettes show high level energy of more than 30.000 MJoule per kg, long lasting burning of more than four hours at temperatures of more than 350 degree Celcius. Company EmBraVerde was founded in 2011 in the state of Goias in Brazil. We are specialized in the production of giant Bamboo plants. Therefore, EmBraVerde is operating its own Bamboo plantation for the production of top-quality Bamboo seedlings. Dendrocalamus (D.C.) ASPER and D.C. STRICTUS are the preferred species to grow. D.C. ASPER delivers more than 40 tons of biomass per hectare, every year. The most beautiful culms (poles) are selected for the manufacturing of furniture and for parquet flooring. D.C. STRICTUS also delivers remarkable amount of biomass and is used for civil construction work (concrete enforcement, etc.). The first three month, our seedlings are growing inside a modern nursery that provides sun shadow and computer controlled irrigation system. The rest of time the seedlings are growing outside in the Bamboo field to get really strong. EmBraVerde supports the planting at customer's site and gives guarantee for a 100% planting and growing of the Bamboo.

Company EmBraVerde Brazil is producing top quality Bamboo culms (poles). We are planting and growing Bamboo plants, species Dendrocalamus (D.C.) ASPER and D.C. STRICTUS on own plantation in rural area in Brazil. Most of the Bamboo harvest is used for the production of biomass, to deliver pellets and charcoal briquettes for customers, around the world. Only a few poles, out of a complete clump (cluster) of up to 200 culms are growing straight from ground up to 30 meter high, huge and beautiful. We are selecting and manually harvesting those culms, preferably at the end of the dry-season in July and August. Those culms are reaching 20 to 30 cm in diameter and the culms are very “woody” with thick and strong walls of up to 20 millimeters. Those culms are preserved by special, but natural procedures, on-site at the plantation. Administration and management for international business is located in Switzerland to keep the business easy, efficient and reliable.
