One application that is particularly suited to the smart living sector is the use of smart systems to support health care and health monitoring. The use of embroidery technology enables the development of especially flexible and wearable devices that fit closely to the body and offer the possibility of active body stimulation. Several thin layers within an embroidered element can fulfill different tasks.

Eine Anwendung, die besonders für den Bereich Smart Living eignet, ist die Verwendung von smarten Systemen zur Unterstützung der Gesundheit. Der Einsatz der Sticktechnologie ermöglicht die Entwicklung besonders flexibler und tragbarer Geräte, die sich eng an den Körper anpassen und so die Möglichkeiten der aktiven Körperstimulation bieten. Mehrere dünne Lagen erfüllen dabei unterschiedliche Aufgaben.

Our production of large-area heating elements has started. And when we say large, we mean really big! The embroidered heating surfaces are 2,450 x 1,500 mm.

Unsere modernen, kameragestützten Schneidsysteme sind die idealen Werkzeuge, um ein schnelles, präzises und effizientes Vereinzeln der gestickten Elemente zu gewährleisten. Ob nun die CNC-Cutter mit ihren mechanischen Schneidwerkzeugen oder unsere CO2-Laserschneidanlagen: In beiden Fällen können selbst komplizierteste Layouts effektiv, millimetergenau und kostengünstig aus textilen Flächen ausgeschnitten werden. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob es sich um traditionelle Kunstfasern, hochspezialisierte technische Textilien wie z. B. Verbundmaterialien aus Schäumen oder kaschierte Materialien mit Selbstklebefolie handelt. Der Vorteil beim Laserschneiden sind die verschweißten Kanten. Dadurch wird ein Auftrennen oder Ausfransen der Textilien vermieden.

Be it our CNC cutting machines with their mechanical cutters or our CO2-laser cutting systems – either way even the most complex layout can be cut out from textile surfaces effectively, cost-efficiently, and accurately to the millimeter. Our machinery allows us to work with all kinds of materials ranging from traditional synthetic fabrics to highly specialized technical fabrics such as foam composites or laminated materials with self-adhesive films. The advantage of our laser cutting technology lies in the fact that all edges are heat-sealed, which prevents the textiles from fraying and unsewing.
