Description
Enox 101 (25Dimethyl25ditertbutylperoxyhexane) is a yellowish liquid which has C16H34O4 as chemical formula. It is used to cure polymers and elastomers, mainly polyethylene ( LDPE, HDPE), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), sillicone rubber and fluoroelastomers. Further it acts as initiator for the production of controlled rheology polypropylene (CRPP). 2,5Dimethyl2,5di(tertbutylperoxy)hexane is also known as ditertbutyl 1,1,4,4tetramethyltetramethylene diperoxide, 2,5Dimethyl2,5bis(tertbutylhydroperoxy)hexane and Ditertbutyl 1,1,4,4tetramethyltetramethylene diperoxide.
