It is rich in antioxidants (e.g. lycopene) and can thus protect cells from free radicals and premature skin ageing. The ingredients lycopene and citroline are said to have an anti-inflammatory effect, making the oil ideal for gentle baby care. Watermelon oil can be used in the kitchen as a cooking oil, for oil extraction, as a bath additive or as a skin care additive. Pure, the oil is used as lip care, for cracked cuticles, stressed nails or for massage. Our cold-pressed watermelon oil has a golden yellow colour and is liquid at room temperature.
