Rotex offers a wide range of 2 Port Solenoid Valves to suit variety of applications. These valves can be basically classified as Normally Closed or Normally Open based on the valve condition when the solenoid is energized. Further they can be classified as Direct Acting, Diaphragm Operated, Internal / External Pilot Operated.

Two-way solenoid valve is a common type of solenoid valve used in so many applications. Fluids can be safely controlled and put to optimal use with the help of valves. Many industrial applications require the use of such valves to be automated. In order to automate and conveniently utilize the full potential of fluids, solenoid valves are essential. A general-purpose 2-way Solenoid valve is used where the application should be able to start and stop the flow as and when needed. These valves have two ports that each connect to either the inlet or the outlet and use an internal plunger to open or close an orifice to control the fluid flowing through those valves. It can be configured as "Normally Open" or "Normally Closed". A Normally open two-way solenoid valve allows the media to pass through its port when the coil is de-energized and a Normally Closed valve allows the media to pass through its port when the coil is energized.

Keeping in mind to positively impact the mobility, safety and efficiency of vehicle and its users Rotex has developed Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS). CTIS provides ‘on-demand’ control over the air pressure in tyres. During adverse operating conditions like in deserts, snow and muddy/wet terrains, off-road operations and varying load conditions it is important the tyres provide tractions to keep vehicle moving. Central Tyre Inflation System has capability to adjust the pressure inside the tyre and attain optimum tyre foot-print that helps gaining the traction required for continual mobility.
