Folknoll's vandal resistant, BS 5839‑9 compatible, disabled refuge EVCS offers cost-effective solutions for shops, offices, hotels and other public spaces. Our range of outstations, master stations and control equipment enables us to construct a system to suit your requirements including photoluminescent outstations, Braille annotation, induction loops, vandal resistant master stations, third-party interfaces, etc. We can even combine our disabled refuge systems with fire telephones, emergency assistance / disabled toilet and other building alarms to provide great solutions for smaller sites.

Our Custody Suite System is a fully integrated cell call, affray alarm, video intercom, and locking control system based on our combined custodial system. The system offers a wide range of NOMS STD/E/SPEC/013 compatible cell call units, Samaritan call units, safer cell units, personal alarms / panic buttons, alarms strips, intercom control units etc. The combined system is operated from plan based GUIs with integrated video and audio. Operator stations can be networked together to allow parallel, zoned, emergency and night‑time operation. Our system maintains a full event log, recording operator actions, audio and 'lip-sync' video. All logs and recordings can be reviewed from our password protected review suite located anywhere on the network..

Folknoll warden call systems enable residents, visitors and staff to obtain assistance in the event of emergency or other contingency. They may also be used warn staff when associated alarms are activated e.g. door exit, water level, smoke. If appropriate, door entry intercom with remote door release can be incorporated into staff and lower dependency speech units. For those times when your site has no local staff available our systems can be configured to report alarms and other events to remote sites.

Our NOMS compliant control system boasts a simple reliable design based on industry standard hardware. It can operate stand-alone, or as a site-wide system with IP and 'hardwired' networking. Our Pedestrian Sliding Door Drive has been designed for use in Prisons and other custodial locations. The drive is fully compliant with UK Home Office specifications and is compatible with SMS and locking control systems. The drive is intended as a ’safer’ alternative to traditional hydraulic powered doors for new and existing installations. The MK II drive incorporates our latest Intelligent Test Box, providing fault diagnoses LEDs and offering an interface for local control using our optional Portable Engineer’s Sliding Door Terminal. The MK II drive is completely compatible with Folknoll locking control systems and other Folknoll custodial products.

NOMS compliant series 9 intercom system is specially developed for use in tough custodial environments. Most units have stainless steel faceplates, flush mount back boxes and ANTI-TAMPER fixings, ideal for Police, MoJ, HM Prison Service, secure hospitals and similar establishments. Many units also benefit from safer cell compatible ANTI-LIGATURE design making the system suitable for custody suites, seclusion rooms etc. For more extreme locations we also offer units with super-flush back boxes for mounting in ANTI-PICK adhesive.

Our Fire Telephone System is designed to help you meet the requirements of BS5839 (Code of Practice for Emergency Voice Communications Systems.
