The conveying angle is dependent on a variety of factors such as the type of goods being conveyed, the top face coating and external factors like dust, moisture, etc. For large conveying angles and for the conveying of small pieces and bulk goods, Forbo Movement Systems offers patterned belts or belts equipped with lateral profiles.

The Siegling Blizzard HC is a new benchmark in quality and speed when heating splices for Siegling Extremultus belts in the aramide and polyester lines as well as narrow Siegling Transilon belts. It’s easy to handle and has very short cycles. Automatic heating and cooling in one single tool prevents mistakes made during handling saves having to put the belts and splicing guide into a cooling clamp after heating is highly efficient due to short cycles delivers excellent splicing results with superior repeat accuracy

Siegling Extremultus elastic food tapes are specifically designed for applications in the food industry. The tension member is made of elastic polyurethane and is thus 100% fray free. Food Belts from Forbo Movement Systems supplies a range of food belts that is based on close partnership with OEMs and food producers. In addition to fabric-based conveyor belts, plastic modular belts, elastic belt types or timing belts, we also provide extra options such as profiles or sidewalls, various customized solutions and on-site service. Our innovative developments pursue different objectives. One example are our HACCP belts that close potential safety gaps in food production. To support your HACCP concept, we can offer food belts with superb resistance to hydrolysis, good release characteristics, designs in blue as a strongly contrasting color, or with sealed belt edges. Siegling Extremultus live roller belts are energy-saving, durable components of driven live rollers. The quality and performance of the belts determine how quickly and reliably items our customers’ items are distributed. The belt’s tension member plays a key role in this process. Today’s standard is polyester fabric (E). But polyamide sheet (P) or aramide fabric (A) are also used. The tension member is embedded in a thermoplastic intermediate layer. Rubber elastomer or urethane coat the two friction layers, which are the top face of the belt (towards the roller) and the underside of the belt (towards the drive and in some cases to the idler roller). The combination of tension member and coating lends the belt its special characteristics – tailored to conveyor type and purpose. The splice requires no extra adhesives (in the Aramid and Polyester line) and can be made quickly, easily and cleanly on site.

The Siegling Blizzard press is supplied with a flight case on castors. Because it’s so compact and lightweight, it’s quick and easy to set up. It’s ready to use as soon as you’ve plugged it into the mains because there’s no need to connect it to external subsystems. The control unit, compressor and air cooling system are integrated in the press. This saves time and costs, prevents errors during operation and ensures hygiene on site.
