A touch of innovation The new T8990 leak tester was designed to improve what was considered the best device in ForTest's history, the M8990. The new video controller “ForTest MMI” brought a superior level of human-machine interaction, thanks to an innovative capacitive panel in tempered glass, around a splendid 6.2” colour display. Parameter programming is much faster thanks to the new numerical keyboard integrated in the menus, and the big display makes viewing even clearer of the test cycle. The main screen also enables interaction with shortcut functions, such as test program change, "smart" test archive menu and locking/unlocking using a password. Limitless connectivity. The new T8990 equipment includes ports for the USB slave, RS232, RS485, Can bus, TTY, Profinet and EtherCAT. Assembly may also include an optional Ethernet port and a 26-pole connector with 4 inputs and 8 outputs, which are completely programmable, for interfacing with the external valves, safety barriers

The T9731 is specifically designed for measure the adequate air flow rate in complete adherence to the standard EN 14683 for surgical masks testing. As shown in diagram C.1 on page 12 of the standard EN14683 , the instrument is equipped with two air flow meters of type Mass-flow with scales 0.0...20.0 nLitres/minute (2.12 of diagram - point C.2.1) servo driven valve controlled from the software (10 of the diagram - point C.2.4), and a double gauge / differential pressure measurement (M1 and M2) as expressly indicated in point C.2.2 . In order to comply with both the ISO accreditation standards and the expectations of the reference standard, the pressure measurements in “Differential" mode (or pressure drop) occurs in Pa or Pa/cm2 in case the sample area is set in the menu TST with area different from 1.00 cm2. The connecting "short form" attached to the manuals providesconnection to an external vacuum pump (C.2.3), not provided.

The new Dual Absolute technology makes it possible to eliminate the disadvantages of a classic differential system, improve its advantages and renew an industry that has been standing still for decades. Thanks to the new Dual Absolute technology, ForTest has combined the simplicity of a classic absolute decay system with the precision and sensitivity of a differential system, bringing leak testing instruments to a level never seen before. The new algorithms and measurement hardware eliminate typical defects in a differential system, such as differences in stabilization between the test part and the reference sample. The new range of instruments is able to work in 3 different ways: Pure Differential, Dual Absolute and Central Zero. The new Dual Absolute technology is so powerful and reliable that ForTest has decided to stop developing the classic differential system.

ForTest avails of highly qualified staff capable of supporting you in the event of technical or application problems. Both over the phone or on the client's site, ForTest can resolve any support request in the shortest time possible. The ForTest periodic calibration service consists of scheduling a periodic calibration plan to guarantee metrological traceability compared to the national samples and therefore meet ISO9000 standards. Calibration can be carried out in our laboratories or on your site to avoid production downtime.

Leak Test Manager is a software application for PC compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8 and 10 that allows interfacing ForTest equipment to a computer via an RS232 connection (or Ethernet if optional is available on the instrument) The features offered by the software are the follows: Real-time display of data detected by the control unit Graph of pressure and decayin real time Set test parameters directly via software Automatically download test results to Excel, Access or CSV files Interface to barcode reader for article code tracking with test results Possibility to start/stop/change testing programs History of the results with measured values Is it possible to require a demo version of the software for evaluation purposes
