Interface fire module THERMOCABLE _MIP2I works in conjunction with a linear thermal fire detector. When the set temperatures are applied to a linear heat fire detector, due to overheating or a fire in any of the two zones, MIP2I automatically calculates the distance to the overheating point on the linear heat fire detector and displays the resulting value in meters. The two zones operate independently of each other, and each zone has its own alarm and a normally conducted fault output. MIP2I is designed for installation between a linear thermal fire detector and an addressable or non-addressable fire alarm control panel. MIP2I has indicators for power supply, failure and alarm indicator, which are responsible for each separate zone. Also, MIP2I can be connected to an automated production process control system using a two-wire RS-485 Modbus RTU output.
