The BL ident® connectivity portfolio offers field-wireable extension cables in various versions (Standard, Economy and Food & Beverage) for the secure communication between interface and read/write head as well as field-wireable bus and supply lines. The accessories include mounting adapters for read/write heads and tags, as well as protective frames for read/write heads. In addition, the portfolio also includes handheld readers for mobile reading and writing of data carriers.

We offer round connector systems in M8 × 1/Ø 8 mm and M12 × 1 acc. to IEC 61076-2-101 as connection and extension cables. The 1/2" and 7/8" round connector systems are particularly suitable for applications with increased power requirements. The M16 and M23 × 0.75 × 1 round connector systems are used for connecting multiple junction systems. A, B, C, or I-type valve connectors acc. to EN 175301-803, are available with and without protective circuit for the connection of various different valves.

With the junction systems you can bundle several sensor signals or distribute actuator signals. 2-way splitters are available in the designs M8 x 1, M12 x 1 and 7/8". Passive 4 / 8-way junction boxes are available in the designs M8 x 1, Ø 8 mm and M12 x 1. With these multiple junction systems you can transmit up to 16 I/O signals via a single multicore cable.

Field-wireable connectors are available in sizes M8 × 1/Ø 8 mm, M12 × 1, 1/2", 7/8", M16 × 0.75, M23 × 1 and also as valve plug. The connectors make installation easier in applications in which it is difficult to estimate the needed cable length.

We offer cables in different qualities, perfectly tailored to the respective application. The products range from simple PVC up to PUR and PP cable types for food and beverage applications. All cables are available as yard goods or with injection-moulded connectors.

The inductive coupler of the NIC series is designed for contactless bidirectional transmission of power and data. The devices consist of two components, the primary part NICP and the secondary part NICS. The primary part supplies the secondary part with power via the air interface. In return the secondary part provides data to the connected sensors and actuators.

Our modular fieldbus and remote I/O-systems offer a comprehensive range of solutions for factory and process automation with interfaces for the fieldbus protocols PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet™, CANopen, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP™ and PROFINET. excom® is a remote-I/O-system in IP20 for Ex and non-Ex areas. You can plan and implement tailor-made solutions for the I/O IP20 area with the universal BL20 bus terminal system. The modular IP67 fieldbus systems BL67 and piconet® can be mounted directly in the field.

For factory automation we offer compact fieldbus I/O-modules for PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet™, CANopen, INTERBUS, AS-interface®, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP™ and PROFINET. The IP67-modules for use in harsh environments have glass-fiber reinforced plastic housings and metal-connectors, are fully potted, vibration and shock-proof. The IP20-modules for DIN rails can not only be installed in control cabinets, they can also be used to integrate small, decentralized control boxes with a few I/O-signals to a fieldbus network.

We offer the full range of solutions for process automation tasks implemented with Foundation™ fieldbus and PROFIBUS-PA: The portfolio includes power supplies, power conditioners, multibarriers as well as junction boxes in IP20 and IP67. The range also includes passive connectivity products such as fieldbus cables, field distributors and terminating resistors. The components are suitable for use in harsh environments and can directly be mounted on the machine or in the process.
