After receiving the design and process-engineering documents, Hilgefort prepares the basic and/or detailed engineering services together with all the necessary static and thermal calculations, as requested by the customer. Hilgefort has been working with various engineering firms for many years and to great success.
When it comes to designing pressure vessels and steam boilers or plant components for scheduled working cycles and downtimes, Hilgefort GmbH possesses extensive experience. Hilgefort produces and assembles all steel, special steel, copper and aluminium components imaginable, ranging from simple individual components through to complex systems, for customers in a wide range of industries.
The maximum possible dimensions for one-piece components are a diameter of up to 7 m and a length of up to 100 m. Larger assemblies are manufactured in segmented designs. This facilitates movement of unit weights up to 300 tons on the rotary devices (hydraulic lift for loading the trailer). The capacity of each of the hall cranes is around 100 tons of unit weight.

Plant construction from Dinklage throughout the world
Manufacturing large plants and components is one thing. Packing and transporting them carefully and safely before reliably assembling them on-site is an entirely different challenge. Hilgefort is a single-source supplier with many years of experience and highly qualified experts. Customers benefit from well-rehearsed procedures and a timely handover.
Transport requires well-orchestrated logistics combined with considerable detailed knowledge: Roads on the route often have to be closed to traffic, traffic lights and road signs dismantled and then put back together again and sometimes even the roadsides have to be reinforced. The plant components not only need to be packed securely, they must also be packed correctly for the climate at the final destination. For example, this includes filling them with antifreeze agents for the leak test, as well as using fumigated wood for deliveries to the USA.

Installation – maximum concentration on site
If desired, Hilgefort can also assemble the plant components and perform final Installation and commissioning on-site. We will also be happy to provide instruction on use of the plant component and assistance in the event of unforeseen difficulties occurring during the Installation. Even years after commissioning, you can rely on us as an expert contact partner for help with any other issues, such as wear.
Experience and skill – even in sensitive areas
For many years, we have also been responsible for performing the final assembly of plant components produced by us in our customers’ industrial facilities and factories. Hilgefort experts have all the necessary qualifications to be permitted to work on sensitive factory premises, such as those in the chemical and petrochemical industry. Our construction supervisors and assembly personnel are certified by the SCC, which governs (occupational) health, safety and environmental (HSE)...
Hilgefort processes steels, special steels, aluminium and copper. The machinery can be used to process sheet thicknesses ranging from 2 mm to 300 mm.

Storage tanks used in the production and processing of corrosive fluids must meet customer safety requirements as well as the standards and regulations in force in the country of delivery.
CTRA offers a wide range of solutions for these storage tanks.
These can be built entirely in GRP or in GRP - Thermoplastic composites depending on the nature of the stored product.
Our tanks cover a range from 0.5m to 6m in diameter and from 0.5 m3 to 300 m3.
Other volumes can be designed and built on request.
We have a skilled quality control team and a laboratory that enables us to carry out trials and tests to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products.
As soon as we receive the raw materials, we carry out the necessary tests to ensure that they comply with the specifications provided by the suppliers.

The transport of corrosive fluids by road, rail and water is highly regulated.
Design and quality requirements are very high because these hazardous materials are transported on public roads.
CTRA offers a range of solutions for these tank containers, which can be made of GRP / GRP Thermoplastic or GRP Thermoplastic.
CTRA produces a wide range of boiler-made equipment for chemical processing, including reactors, columns, decanters, mixers, gas coolers, gas scrubbers, odour scrubbers and absorbers, as well as their internal equipment.
All this boilerwork is designed by our departments to meet the dynamic and hydrostatic loads required by the various processes.
Thanks to the development and mastery of materials, CTRA is able to design a wide range of boilerwork, up to 6 m in diameter, to withstand the most corrosive fluids, whether they operate in a vacuum or at high pressure, from 50°C to 200°C.
