PTFE heat-shrink tubes have good electrical and mechanical parameters and are used for insulation and sealing. After being put in a stretched state on an object and being exposed to heat, they shrink to their original sizes and take the shape of the object. We produce heat-shrink tubes of two types: type TTK and type OTK. TTK and OTK tubes are used: -for electrical insulation and additional mechanical protection of lead wires as well as for the insulation of winding wire connections in the frontal parts of submersible electrical equipment; -for sealing probe cables in borehole geophysical equipment operating in contact with reservoir water, gas, and oil; -in radio electronics; -in the process of installing on-board electrical networks in vehicles. PTFE heat-shrink tubes are resistant to oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, surfactants and many other substances at temperatures ranging from -50 °C to +200 °C. Shrinking is achieved at temperatures from +175 °C to +230 °C.
