The HONSEL Rivdom eBZ 3 battery riveter was developed specially for the demands of the setting of high-strength blind rivets with 6.4 and 7.8 mm diameter with grooved rivet stud! The clamping jaws specially designed for this geometry and a modified clamping mechanism guarantee reliable and positive settings of high-strength blind rivets with a stud diameter from 3.8 to 6.15 mm. This also helps to minimise wear on the clamping jaws. Rivdom eBZ 3 has a modern brushless DC (BLDC) motor. Ergonomy and comfort: Quick-release mechanism: No more than one open-jaw wrench for maintenance! Individual return mode setting: When using manual return mode, the trigger has to remain pressed until the rivet is sheared. SFM-PL folding blind rivet nuts are constructed for those applications where a high pull-out strength is requested. The slottedshaft makes the rivet nut split into four straps with a wide contact surface that guarantee an equal distribution of forces especially on plastics and other vulnerable materials. Furthermore this type offers a very big grip range! SFM-PL folding blind rivet nuts are for example used in all fields of vehicle manufacturing.

Blind rivet nuts with continuous hexagonal (Hexaform) or partial hexagonal shank (Hexatop) are another possibility to avoid the rotation of the fastener in the component as alternative to knurled shafts. Especially with coated components or when using tools smaller working stroke you can achieve excellent results.
