The MCP1702T-3302E/CB is a low quiescent current low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator in 3 pin SOT-23A package. This regulator is an ideal choice for two to six primary cell battery powered applications, 9V alkaline and one or two cell Li-Ion powered applications. Output voltage tolerance of MCP1702 is typically ±0.4% at +25°C and ±3% maximum over operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Line regulation is ±0.1% typical at 25°C. When only 1F of output capacitance is used, the LDO output is steady. Electrolytic capacitors made of ceramic, tantalum, or aluminum can be utilized for input and output.
